Thank you for using the services of Dr Connick. This Privacy Policy outlines how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and stored. By using our website and services, you consent to the practices described herein.

Why your information is processed
To enable the professional discharge of duties it may be necessary to store and process your data for the purposes of:

What information is collected
In accordance with Article 6.1 of the Data Protection Act (2018) and to perform the above activities the following may be collected and held:
- Contact details
- Relevant clinical records made by this dentist or other dental professionals
- Imaging which may include 2D photographs, radiographs and 3D models
- Dates, times and locations of appointments
- Medical and dental histories
- Relevant correspondence with or about yourself
- Notes or minutes regarding conversations or dental care
Sharing of data
To carry out the processes outlined above, it is necessary to share some information. Data is only shared where necessary, and only with organisations that are also compliant with Data Protection law. These include:
- Practices, hospitals, universities, and training organisations where Dr Connick is engaged
- Dental laboratories
- Organisations through which you were introduced
- Professional bodies, regulators, and indemnity providers
Storage and retention
Data is stored for the minimum period of time necessary. Clinical records are stored in accordance with the law and GDC standards. Teaching and advertising data will be anonymised 2 years after it is last processed.
Access to your information and other rights
You have the following personal data rights:
- The right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data
- The right of access - to receive a copy of personal data stored
- The right to rectification - to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- The right to deletion of your personal data. N.B. For legal reasons, erasure of certain information may not be possible (for example, clinical records)
- The right to restrict processing of your personal data
- The right to data portability - to have your data transferred to someone else
- The right to withdraw consent - where consent has been obtained, that consent may be withdrawn at any time
